What is a donation?
A donation is an act of generosity and altruism to give selflessly money (or sometimes other resources) to persons (physical or moral) to help them at least to remain operationally sustainable, and even to develop and to grow, in the aim to achieve their goals.
Can you donate?
First and foremost, a donation is always a personal and private choice that is completely free and voluntary. No one is ever obligated to donate; this would be against the moral value of donating.
A donation must always be a completely free and voluntary choice coming from one’s pure desire and sincere willingness to help and to give.
Why donate?
A donation is always a selfless act of generosity and altruism, which aim is to help and to support those who receive your donation.
You may donate for various moral reasons that are generally linked to values and ideals: because you adhere to the same values that you believe to be good and helpful to the World; because you would like to contribute to reaching the aimed goals; because you would like to encourage the activities that you believe to be a good initiative; etc.
A donation is and remains an act of positive moral value of generosity and altruism as long as it is done with selflessness, with the sincere intention to help and to support others without expecting a return; never when it’s done with a selfish intention to receive back some profit or to serve some personal interest, in such case it would no longer be a donation, but it would become a business transaction.
Who may donate?
Everyone and anyone in the World who has the sufficient financial resources and the sincere desire and willingness to donate, may donate!
There are no restrictions on whom may donate, except the following obvious ones:
- Individuals who are minors of age (age of majority may vary according to the country) may not donate without their parents’ or legal guardians’ informed consent
- Individuals who are in a situation of vulnerability or weakness, whose cognitive faculties may be weakened or altered, such as but not only: cognitively disabled individuals, those whose cognitive faculties are declining due to very old age, the dying, etc.; those may not donate without being clearly informed and explained all the implications by their trusted relatives, and without expressing freely and explicitly their informed consent, or only when they are back to their full cognitive abilities and a healthy life when it is possible
- Individuals who have low financial resources or who are in financial difficulty or distress should not donate, as they would be more in need to use any money for their own necessities
- And, very obviously, donations are definitely not wanted from any persons (physical or moral) who may be into activities that are not ethical or that infringe the law!
How much may you donate?
The amount that you can donate is completely free and up to you, there is no minimum, nor maximum, nor recommended nor suggested amount:

Attention: However, please remain cautious never to donate more than you are able to, neither more than you need to keep. A donation must never in any way be done against your own needs and interests and those of your family, your loved ones, your dependents, your organisation, your employees, your fellow citizens, who may need this money, neither to put you or them in a situation of difficulty or debt, such action would not be generosity but recklessness. You may donate only if you have the sufficient means to, and that giving away the donated amount shall not harm you nor anyone in any way. If you don’t have enough money or that you are in need of money, then please keep it to address your own necessities.
What will your donations be used for?
At the current stage of the Organisation’s life, donations will be used mainly for helping us to remain operationally sustainable, to cover our operating costs, to organise our activities such as the gatherings, which will help us to help more people to feel happier and to grow, and ultimately to develop and to increase in the number of people whom we can help.
