Text 5: Life Feel Sense Consciousness

May Life and Peace be upon all beings.

From the Being comes Life, that is Movement and Change and Energy.
All that exists in the One All World, in the Time-Space, in the Cosmos, in Nature, is movement and is in movement, all that exists is Living.

Nothing is completely immobile, complete immobility does not exist and is impossible.
What appears to us as being immobile is only, either too small size movement, either too slow movement, to be perceived at human scale. But at very small and microscopic sizes and at very long and macroscopic durations, what appears to us to be immobile shows movement that is hidden to us.

Thus, All that exists in Nature is Living, all beings and bodies from all scales and species whatever they might be are Living:

From the smallest elementary particles to the Cosmos as a whole,

Through all subatomic and atomic structures,

Stars and planets and other astronomical bodies and structures they constitute,

And biological organisms.

Biological organisms’ cellular life is only the most complex and the most animated and evolving degree of Life, but sub-biological bodies of lower degrees of complexity are also living, even though they do not possess some properties that are specific to cellular life.
Wherever and whenever there is change and/or movement, there is Life and energy.

Thus, Life exists since the First Beginning of Time and Space and of the Cosmos, particles of matter are living, atoms and molecules are living, stars and planets are living, before biological life appeared on some planets such as Earth in the form of cells and multicellular organisms.

Life is a perpetual movement forward growth and development,

Life is the driving power and force that causes evolution and development and progress,

Life is the origin and source from which all the beings emerge, and that embodies and incarnate into physical bodies,

Life is the origin and source of the Individual beings, of the Self.

Within the Self, the first might and power and force that is within and that drives it, is Life,
And Life drives the Self to stay alive and to preserve itself, and to grow and develop, these are the first receptions of the Self that come from within itself, the instincts of survival and self-preservation from death and from harm and the instincts of growth and development, these instincts are the very first feelings of the Self that emerge from Life itself.

Within the Self, Feelings are forces of life, that are Instincts, and states of need and of fulfilment or lack of fulfilment of the needs, that are Emotions.

The need to stay alive and whole, that is hunger and predation and fight or flee, the risk of death or harm, that is fear, and its fulfilment, that is safety,

The need to grow and develop, that is desire and liberty, the risk of restriction and of loss, that is sadness and anger, and its fulfilment, that is peace and achievement and joy.

The need to transmit from itself even after its end, that is reproduction, the risk of completely disappearing, that is complete death, and its fulfilment, that is accomplishment.

To fulfil its lively needs of survival and self-preservation and growth and development and transmission, the Self needs to Connect to and to Interact with the other beings that exist in the World; as complete isolation prevents life from staying alive and leads only to death, nothing and no one can live completely isolated from everything, life needs interactions with other things as a necessity to stay alive.

Within the World, each Individual being, or Self, is connected to all the other Individual beings, or Selves, that are, either directly or indirectly, either nearby or distantly.

Relatively to one given Individual Self, the whole that contains all the other Individual beings that are connected to it at any degree constitutes this Self’s Environment. A Self’s environment varies in distance from the Self, from the immediate environment, to the near environment, to the farther environment, to the distant environment.

The Self and its Environment define 2 complementary spaces:

The Self, that is its own internal space, the interior,

The Environment, that is the space external to the Self, the exterior,

The interior and exterior spaces are and remain relative to one given Self, as with more than one Self, then for each Self the other Selves are external to it thus they are in its external environment or exterior.

The connection between the Self and its Environment implies movements between both spaces and in both orientations:

Entries coming from the external environment to the inside of the internal Self, that are Receptions or inputs,

Exits from the internal Self going to the outside external environment, that are Actions or outputs,

Both movement orientations constitute the Interactions of the Self with its Environment.

Interactions, both Receptions and Actions, are movements of information and of energy and of matter that are exchanged between the external space that is the Self’s Environment and the internal space of the Self.

Entries or Receptions coming from the outside Environment to inside the Self are received by the Self’s elements which function is to receive all that enters, the receptors.
The Self’s receptors enable the Self to receive information and energy and matter, that come from the Environment and the beings it contains; thus, they enable the Self to Sense the Presence of beings and of movements in the Environment, and to sense information and quantities and qualities about these beings and movements.
Reception and integration and assimilation of the received information and energy and matter within the Self is the Sensation.

All beings, from the most fundamental such as elementary particles, to the most complex such as Humans, have the ability to receive and to sense. The degree to which a being can receive and sense information and energy and matter from its environment depends on the complexity of the internal self-organisation of the being.

Beings of low degree of complexity, such as particles of matter at subatomic and atomic level, that have none to very few layers of internal structure, can receive and sense very simple information, such as energy levels of photons they may receive, and values of the fields of the fundamental interactions or forces they are submitted to (gravity, strong force, weak force, electromagnetism… in the current standard model of physics).

Beings of medium degrees of complexity, that have multiple layers of internal structure, such as stars and planets and the astronomical systems they compose, can receive and sense many physical information such as gravity, electromagnetism, temperature, nuclear reactions, chemical reactions, mechanical movements.

Beings of great degree of complexity, that have a multidimensional quantitative and qualitative internal organisation, such as biologic cells, bacteria, archaea, eucaryotes and simple single-layered multicellular organisms, can receive and sense numerous information that is mostly electromagnetic and chemical, survival instincts and touch.

Beings of high degree of complexity, in general complex multicellular and multilayered organisms, such as trees, vertebrate animals, birds and mammals, primates and great apes up to humans, have numerous senses that are interoceptive, proprioceptive and exteroceptive, most of them being electromagnetic and chemical and thermal and mechanical.

We, Humans, are beings of the highest and top degree of complexity, and we have very numerous senses, more than 20 senses, that are (non-exhaustive and simplified list):

Interoceptive: oxygenation, thirst, hunger, sleep, urination, defecation, nausea, sexual excitement, etc.,

Proprioceptive: balance, muscles stretch, etc.,

Exteroceptive: taste, smell, heat, cold, pain, pressure, vibration, hearing, vision,

Thus, way beyond the simplistic classical “five senses” model.

Senses give to the Self a first and immediate conscience that is sensory, that is conscience of its own self and of its environment, or Consciousness.

Thus, as all beings are Living and Feeling and Sensing, then all beings are Conscious, though at different degrees of Consciousness according to their degree of complexity,

The simplest beings such as fundamental particles having the lowest degree of consciousness,

And the most complex beings that are humans having the highest degree of consciousness,

And ultimately the Cosmos as a whole, that connects and contains all consciousnesses together in One All Cosmic Consciousness beyond them all, within which each one of us in only one part of it among countless others.
